Every family deserves to feel safe and respected.

“ Emily was able to be at our son’s birth. I literally could not have done it without her and am forever grateful. And, Lindsey provided postpartum doula support again, which is always such a treat and has made my postpartum experience 100x better.” -KB

Birth Doula Support

Two Prenatal visits: This time will be used to discuss the desires you have for your birth. We will work together to develop a customized birth plan and review various comfort measures.

Pregnancy Support: Pregnancy can throw you some curveballs. Your doula will be available to help you navigate pregnancy and the days leading up to birth. You will have unlimited phone/text/email support from the time you hire us, to answer your questions, make referrals, and offer encouragement and support.

Labor and Birth Support: During early labor Emily or Lindsey will provide phone/text support. Your doula will be with you every step of the way and will join you as soon as you feel you need hands-on support. We will stay with you until your baby is in your arms and you are settled in recovery.

Postpartum Visit: You will receive 1 in-home postpartum visit within the first week home. We will discuss your birth experience, offer help with any challenges you and your partner have with feeding or baby care, offer referrals, and a chance to process your birth story.

Postpartum Doula Support

Becoming a parent is both an exciting and uncertain time in life. It can be easy to get overwhelmed when you are a new parent. Lindsey is a DONA trained birth and postpartum doula. She provides families with non-medical support and information on emotional and physical recovery, infant feeding and soothing, and coping skills for new parents. She can also help with simple meals and snacks, light housework, referrals, and assisting your other children with their new role.

Postpartum care includes:

  • Emotional and physical support

  • Assistance with other children

  • Education about newborn care

  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation (dishes, laundry, tidying)

  • Baby feeding support and education

  • Support for optimizing sleep for the whole family

  • Referrals to other professionals, and providing educational resources

  • Baby wearing

  • Making sure you are staying hydrated and nourished

  • Small errands

Birth Photography

Documenting your birth story is such an important gift that you can give to yourself. Being able to look back at your birth and process through it through the eyes of your photographer can be so healing and (in my opinion) so much fun. Invest in photos you can show your children when they ask you, “What happened the day I was born?”

Free Consultation: This consultation can happen via Zoom or in person.

100-250 Edited Photos: You will receive digital downloads of all edited photos.

On-Call Time: Your photographer will be on call for you starting at 36 weeks

Placenta Encapsulation

Let us do the dirty work. We’ll handle the details, you focus on recovery.

The research on placenta ingestion is very limited, there is a large amount of women who agree that it greatly benefited them during the postpartum period!

PRIMARY BENEFITS SOME MOTHERS NOTICE WHILE TAKING THEIR PLACENTA CAPSULES ARE:

  • Increase in breastmilk production

  • Higher iron levels

  • Decrease in ‘baby blues’, postpartum depression, and postpartum anxiety

  • Hormonal regulation

  • Can provide natural post-birth pain relief

  • Increased energy and libido

  • Improved quality sleep

  • Increase in a stress-reducing hormone, CRH (Corticotrophin Releasing Hormones)

  • Increased production of oxytocin (the ‘love hormone’) which can promote bonding with your baby

  • What’s included? Prepared placenta capsules (amount will depend on the size of the placenta), tincture, and cord keepsake. *Placenta Prints available upon request.

  • *Emily Croff and Meghon Larson are best certified placenta experts. They have completed training in safe handling and preparation of placentas, blood-borne pathogen training, and food safety. All placenta preparation takes place in a space that is dedicated only to placenta preparation, with high-quality equipment. All materials are either one-time use or sanitized before and after.

“We don’t have adequate words to express how much we appreciated Lindsey before, during, and after the birthing process. At every step of labor, Lindsey assured me that my body was doing the work it needed to and that I was doing everything to help our baby. Lindsey was the perfect addition to our birth team.”
